The Teachers' strike On Chicago has affected alot people for the past few days. children without education, mothers with no jobs, and also with no solutions. I support and oppose the situation for several reasons, what's your reason?
Kids should get their education because if they don't, they will be nothing in life. I know it's kinda cruel but it's true. There Is alot of bad things that could get in the way such as poverty, drugs, killing, and even more.
Chicago has been a war zone for over 30 years, and it has affected alot of people; childern as well. While the teachers are on strike, they are getting nothing out of it. It is A fact that the money that they are demanding and complaining about, they are making absolutely no money while on strike. Also, they complain about building conditions, and other things that doesn't matter at all.
In my honest opinion, I just think that the situation could have been dealt with more differently. I would have probably went to the school board or the mayor, but cheating children out of their education for small problems, not fair to the kids or the parents....what do you think?
